Resort - 1989 - LP

Back on the tarmac. The Resort's only recording is reissued on a limited edition LP.

1989. Roi Pearce (Last Resort) starts a new band. Joined by Mark Edwards (guitar, ex-The Rivals and The Gems), Dean Wilkinson (drums) and Mick Melville (bass). After a few low-key gigs, the foursome head into the studio and an album that stands out of time is created. A combination of new songs and reworked Oi! anthems, delivered with a heavy but melodic sound that stood out even amongst the top Link Records acts of the day.

This reissue also brings two extra tracks from the period demos, for the first time on black wax. Also included is a text appendix full of archival photos that were originally intended to grace the cover. Raw, hard, no glitter. Street Rock'n'Roll as it should sound.
